| A local Inupiaq in Selawik, Alaska clean Sheefish
and Whitefish the traditional way using a ulu. Potatoes sacks are
laid down to keep the fish from sliding around. At fish camps they
use grass instead of potatoes sacks. After cleaning and cutting
with the ulu the fish are hung to dry. |
