Sitka Totem National Historical Park features the largest collection of totem poles in the world. The totem poles are carved from cedar trees and line the trails in the park. this aerial photo shows the shallow beaches the surround the park making a wonderful adventure at low tide

The O'Donnell Bridge was built in 1972. It connects Japonski Island to Baranof Island and the rest of Sitka. Japonski Island is home to Mount Edgecumbe REgion High School and SEARHC Region Hospital.
